Candlelight Cabinetry, located in upstate New York, offers almost limitless design possibilities, with their select hardwoods, door styles, finishing options and Signature Drawers.

Select Hardwoods

With guidance from your KBS designer, you'll choose from 9 different species: Select Cherry, Rustic Cherry, Select Maple, Hickory and Rustic Hickory, Select Red Birch, Walnut, Select Red Oak and Quarter-sawn White Oak. With deliberate care, Candlelight hand-selects the woods used to manufacture your cabinets, to reduce or eliminate character marks such as knots and mineral deposits, and to ensure the best possible results in construction and finishing.

Door Styles

Flat Panel, Raised Panel, Mitred or Slab styles available from Candlelight Cabinetry combined with wood selection, finish, door styles and drawers offer you the design flexibility you expect from one of America's finest cabinetmakers. Your KBS designer will help you choose from their wide variety of options.

Custom Quality Finishes

Candlelight ensures a high quality finish for your cabinets with a meticulous finishing process that starts with wood selection and hand-sanding on a bench, one section at a time. They follow up this careful preparation with hand application of their oil base wiping stain, then hand-wiped and rubbed to bring out the rich beauty of the wood. Each part is then individually sealed and sanded to create the perfect surface for application of the top coat. The result is a cabinet finish with a smooth feel they call the "Warm Glow of Candlelight".

Signature Drawers

Durability. Superior construction. Painstaking attention to detail. It's all found in Candlelight Cabinetry's Signature Drawers. Solid woodworking combines with top-notch hardware for unparalleled quality and efficiency. Standard hardware includes Blumotion drawer slides to close the drawers softly and silently and high quality Blum drawer tracks and hinges.

Tree Planting Program

Since 1990, Candlelight has planted over 25,000 trees through their Tree Planting Program. As a purchaser of Candlelight Cabinetry you will have a choice between receiving a complimentary tree for your yard or ten trees for one of our national forests.

ESP Certification

Manufacturers must demonstrate compliance with stringent criteria to be awarded ESP Certification. It is a rigorous process that helps guarantee that everyone is doing their part to provide you with sustainable cabinetry products.

The criteria for certification includes, but is not limited to:

• 100% of particleboard, plywood and MDF used must be certified to meet lowest formaldehyde emission standards
• 80% of particleboard and MDF used in the cabinets must contain 100% recycled or recovered fiber content
• Hardwoods must be certified through an independent and credible sustainable forestry program
• A documented energy conservation program must be in place
• A written Environmental Management System must be available and enforced
• An active recycling program for process wastes must be in place
• All federal, state and local environmental requirements must be observed
• The manufacturer must demonstrate community involvement and leadership through service or charitable organizations.
